  • Drums and Bass Tracks are completed!
    PHILADELPHIA, PA – C & Jim are pleased to announce that both the drums and the bass tracks are complete for "Caffeine and Lust", which is still slated for a 2010 release!

    C will be laying down rhythm guitar tracks next followed by vocals, background vocals (with guest vocalist Gina Christian) and Jim's mystical lead guitar magic.

  • ♬ CAFFEINE & LUST is born! ♬
    COLLEGEVILLE, PA — July 24, 2010 - Talisman's Jim & C and wonder-drummer Craig Smith, spent the day at C Sounds Studio (gotta love the name of the studio - irony noted) in Collegeville with engineer Chuck kicking off the maiden recordings of forthcoming CD release Caffeine & Lust. Many of the songs were written in a caffeine freenzy starting last summer and it is soooooooooooo good to get them down in permanent form.

    Drums are down for "Lead", "Lover's Dance", "Deal Me In", "Walk Away", "Hey, What About Me" and "Roll On". Minimal takes. VERY productive day. Craig rocked     ♬

    We're thrilled to announce that vocalist Gina Christian, who lent us her wonderful vocals on our last recording The Wicked World's Come of Age will be joining us again for Caffeine & Lust. We can't wait to get started on the vocal tracks!

  • Talisman Wins Best New Song for the 1st 1/2 of 2010!

    Talisman's song Shadows was voted best new song played on SRrocks.com for the 1st half of 2010! We received over 50% of the votes, from all over the USA, Canada and England! It's particularly amazing when you consider how many songs were in SRrocks poll and how many were by established artists.

    We are honored and blessed by everyone's continued support. Thank you so much and we hope to continue rocking your world for a long, long time to come.

  • PHILADELPHIA's TIN ANGEL to be ROCKED
    PHILADELPHIA, PA — Talisman is THRILLED to be back at Philadelphia’s famous Tin Angel 20 South 2nd Street on Thursday, April 1st. We will be co-billing with Tim Butler & Sandlot Heroes Preferred seating for the show goes to diners at Serrano downstairs from Tin Angel (really good food - we eat there too!). We'll be doing more live recording for our forthcoming CD so come on out and SHOUT!!

    Doors open at 7:30pm

    Talisman's (full band) has a GREAT way to end of the month of January - catch them live at the iconic Tin Angel on Sunday - 1/31. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7pm sharp.
